Thank you for Rosemary. My husband died 2 years ago and he always told me one of his favorite things was when I sang for him. Sharing a full-throated rendition today that I hope he will hear.
How beautiful. Thank you for sharing. So sorry to hear of your husband’s passing. I’m sure he’ll love hearing from you. Sending lots of love your way, Annette. ❤️
You absolutely captured a beautiful story with such a beautiful song that's so visual that it put me in the hallway outside the piano room from where, after you left, I heard her play their favorites and have quiet little conversations with her loved one, a bit of laughter, a sniffle or two and felt her overwhelming love and joy and sadness.
Feeling as though I stumbled into someone else’s special private place. Where the affection will always remain not in loss or sadness , but in softness and gentility for that which was. Your poetry grows stronger, and the observations make me feel like a voyeur . Thank you for letting me trespass through your reflections. I keep wondering how your next chapter will unfold because every week a new book begins.
Just played your song again, this time for my girlfriend in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. She wept while listening , then silence. From both sides. When you’ve created a special feeling it pauses the world. Thanks, Kathryn.
What a perfect tribute to Rosemary and Ron and such a loving way to capture that time and place with words and music. That is such a gift, Kathryn, for them...and us. 💕
I knew that piano tuning needed to become a song, Kathryn! Thanks for writing and sharing. I don’t play but I quietly sing along as I slow dance in the kitchen with my memories. 💔

The love story was great, then came the lyrics, then the voice. Wow! What a voice, in every sense of the word.
Thank you so much. 🥹🙏🏻

"Until next year."

"I packed up my tools and picked up my heart" This was a very poignant sentence within your song and really struck a chord with me.
